Practical reading

A base ranged attack of 120 is respectable, but Renjishi's strongest reason to invest remains Kindling level 8 and its player-facing Burn support.

Base work

Work suitability levels

Kindling

Lv. 8

Furnaces, cooking and Fire-powered production

Handiwork

Lv. 6

Crafting benches and assembly work

Gathering

Lv. 5

Harvest collection when Fire work is idle

Transporting

Lv. 5

Moving finished materials into storage

If you want a pure furnace specialist, manually restrict Renjishi to Kindling so its secondary jobs do not pull it away from the production line.

Partner skill

How Stage Combat works

Stage Combat makes the player's attacks inflict Burn while Renjishi is in the party. The effect is unique and does not stack, so carrying multiple Renjishi does not multiply the application.

Partner-skill rank raises the Burn application from level 2 toward level 6. Rapid-hit weapons are the natural match because they create more chances to build the status than slow single-shot weapons.
