Build rule
Breed two focused Renjishi
Renjishi has two valuable identities: Kindling level 8 makes it an elite production Pal, while Stage Combat makes player attacks apply Burn. Those jobs ask for different passives, so one hybrid copy wastes slots.
Recommended account plan
Finish the base worker first because its value is immediate and consistent. Start the combat project only after you have a clean parent line carrying the durability and damage traits you want.
Base build
Uninterrupted furnace specialist
| Slot | Passive | Why it belongs |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Remarkable Craftsmanship | Top standard work-speed rung. |
| 2 | Heart of the Immovable King | Slows SAN loss and protects real uptime. |
| 3 | Mastery of Fasting | Reduces feed-box trips and logistics downtime. |
| 4 | Insomnia | Keeps the worker active at night. |
Manually assign this copy to Kindling so Handiwork, Gathering and Transporting do not interrupt furnace or kitchen output.
High-risk alternative: Demon's Hand
Demon's Hand adds 90% work speed but makes SAN fall 15% faster. Use it only when food, beds, recovery and monitoring can absorb the drawback. It is not the default recommendation for unattended play.
Combat build
Durable Burn-support copy
| Slot | Passive | Role |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Demon God | Primary attack ladder pick. |
| 2 | Diamond Body | Defense plus flinch and knockback immunity. |
| 3 | Vampiric | Sustain for longer boss fights. |
| 4 | Flame Emperor | Fire-specialist damage; use Swift instead for mobility. |
For active skills, combine a fast move such as Ignis Blast or Spirit Fire with one area tool and one high-power finisher. Stage Combat works through the player's attacks, so a rapid-fire weapon remains the most consistent way to build Burn.
Party core
Renjishi Burn team
| Pal | Job | Verified interaction |
|---|---|---|
| Renjishi | Ignite source | Player attacks apply Burn while it is in the party. |
| Jormuntide Ignis | Burn amplifier | Raises player and Pal damage against burning targets. |
| Flaracle | Detonator | Player hits on burning targets trigger area damage. |
The core uses only three party slots. Spend the two open slots on the boss's elemental counter, player defense, movement, or another utility effect. Duplicate unique partner effects do not stack.
Avoid
Common build mistakes
- Stacking multiple passives from the same graded ladder instead of covering four different needs.
- Putting work-speed traits on the combat copy or attack traits on the permanent base worker.
- Carrying duplicate Renjishi and expecting Stage Combat to stack.
- Using slow single-shot weapons and assuming Burn will apply as consistently as rapid hits.
